Advisor Vulnerability Management — CISO

Do you want to drive the bank-wide Vulnerability Management agenda? In this role you create transparency, structure, and momentum across a complex Vulnerability Management programme. You connect security, infrastructure, platforms, and application teams to help Rabobank improve patching performance, reduce overdue vulnerabilities, and steer the right cross-domain actions. As Road Manager Vulnerability Management — part of the CISO Office — you bring vision, structure, and coordination to vulnerability management efforts across the bank, guide the organisation on execution of improvements, keep oversight, and advise management (e.g. on automated patching and follow-up).

• Project management — translate the Vulnerability Management agenda into a clear project structure with milestones, owners, dependencies, and measurable outcomes.
• Coordinate delivery across the organisation, ensuring alignment on priorities, timelines, and decision-making.
• Monitor progress, risks, blockers, and interdependencies; escalate where needed to keep improvements on track.
• Provide structured reporting to management on status, impact, bottlenecks, and required follow-up actions.
• Security management — identify overarching risks and steer from a broad perspective.
• Make informed decisions on prioritisation, mitigation, and long-term planning.
• Ensure preventive measures are implemented in time and effectively across the organisation.

• Academic working and thinking level (WO).
• Demonstrated strong project management and leadership skills.
• Expertise in Information Security, specifically Vulnerability Management.
• Proven experience in IT Risk Management and Information Security within an international environment.
• Track record of managing senior stakeholders and advising at C-level.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and critical-thinking skills.
