Azure Platform Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Cloud / Platform Engineer with proven expertise in designing, managing and automating containerized workloads within Azure environments, in a corporate production setting. Stack: Azure · AKS / Container Apps / App Service · Azure DevOps · Azure Monitor & Log Analytics · Microsoft Entra ID (nice to have).

• Design, manage and automate containerized workloads in Azure (AKS, Container Apps, App Service).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate Dev, Sec and Ops processes, preferably with Azure DevOps.
• Write Infrastructure as Code (Bicep and Terraform) to provision and manage the platform.
• Set up observability with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics workspaces.
• Apply security principles across public cloud and containerized workloads; manage IAM and networking.
• Automate repetitive tasks using scripting languages and Infrastructure as Code.

• 8+ years hands-on experience with Azure cloud environments running containerized workloads in production within corporate environments.
• Solid understanding of IAM and networking concepts.
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code, including writing Bicep and Terraform configurations.
• Proven experience automating Dev, Sec and Ops processes using CI/CD solutions, preferably Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of security principles in public cloud environments and containerized workloads.
• Strong programming skills (e.g. Python, Java, TypeScript or equivalent) and experience designing backend-heavy systems.
• Nice to have: Microsoft Entra ID.
