Contract Manager — Lingen, Germany

For Bilfinger Engineering, X17 is looking for an experienced Contract Manager for a major construction project in Lingen, Germany. Freelancers / independent contractors (ZZP) only. Bilfinger Tebodin is a leading engineering and consultancy firm delivering consultancy, engineering, project management, procurement, and construction-management services to industrial clients across oil & gas, food, chemicals, and pharma.

• Establish, evaluate, negotiate, and tactically/operationally manage all contracts with contractors and suppliers.
• Advise the Project Manager and the client to ensure optimal project execution across planning & scheduling, costs, safety, change orders (additional and reduced scope), and claims management.

• A completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical discipline.
• At least 15 years of experience as a Contract Manager in industrial projects.
• Knowledge of German legislation and regulations, including DIN and VDE standards.
• Experience with contractor management, stakeholder management, and change management.
• Excellent command of both Dutch and German, spoken and written.
• Core competencies: customer focus, results orientation, negotiation, stakeholder & risk management, decisiveness.
