DevOps Engineer — Cryptography

Support internal application teams across a wide range of cryptography use cases. Contribute to the development and enhancement of a key management application, enabling automation and lifecycle management of cryptographic keys. Participate in key project activities, including lifecycle management of Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) and associated cryptographic applications.

• Support internal application teams across a wide range of cryptography use cases.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of the key management application, enabling automation and lifecycle management of cryptographic keys.
• Participate in key project activities including lifecycle management of Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) and associated cryptographic applications.
• Maintain and operate HSM infrastructure (cloud-based and on-premises) in accordance with security and compliance standards.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, contribute to area goals, and support evolving business and security needs.
• Engage with external vendors, managing communication and maintenance activities.

• Foundational knowledge of cryptography and experience working with Hardware Security Modules (HSMs).
• Experience with cloud services, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Strong DevOps understanding, including automation, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
• Proficiency in programming languages including Java, Spring Boot, and Python.
• Hands-on responsibility for day-to-day HSM operations: tooling management, network configurations, monitoring, system health.
• Willing and able to proactively take ownership.
• Works in a structured and disciplined manner — follows strict protocols while also defining new procedures for sensitive operations.
• Strong security-first mindset; continually acts to keep the organisation secure.
• Comfortable operating within an enterprise environment.
