ITSM Data Engineer

Join a dynamic team as a Data Engineering Specialist at a major Dutch bank. You will implement IT Service Management (ITSM) Data Objects and Configuration Management System (CMS) business rules using the bank's Global Data Platform, built on Microsoft Azure. The role requires a deep understanding of both Azure and ITSM, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Data integration: use the Global Data Platform to integrate and manage data from various sources.
• Azure management: leverage Azure services to ensure the scalability, reliability and security of the ITSM data.
• Power BI services: create dataflows, manage workspaces, and more.
• Business-rule implementation: implement and maintain business rules within the Configuration Management System using the Global Data Platform.
• Collaboration: work closely with business analysts, process owners and other stakeholders to understand and implement business requirements.
• Monitoring & optimization: continuously monitor system performance and data integrity, and optimize processes for efficiency.
• Documentation: create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all processes and configurations.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure services (e.g. Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure DevOps).
• Strong Databricks knowledge and Apache Airflow.
• Good understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM).
• Knowledge of data integration and ETL processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; strong communication and collaboration in English; able to work both independently and as part of a team.
