We value your privacy and store your data only for as long as necessary to provide our services.

Account Document and Data
- Your CVs, cover letters, and related content are stored securely during your active account period.
- If you delete your account, all uploaded or generated content is automatically deleted from our servers immediately.
Types of Data Collected
- CopilotResume may store limited user information required to operate the service, including account details (such as name and email), resume content created by the user, uploaded files (for example profile photos), subscription information, and basic usage logs.
Data Retention Period
- User data is retained only for the duration necessary to provide the service. Resume data and uploaded files remain available while the user account is active. Users can delete their resumes or account at any time.
Inactive Accounts
- If an account remains inactive for 4 weeks, it may be flagged for deletion. Users may receive a notification before any permanent removal of data.
Payment Data
- We do not store any bank details, credit/debit card numbers, or payment credentials.
- All transactions are handled by a secure third-party payment gateway (Stripe).
- Once the payment is complete, we receive only a confirmation (no card details).
Analytics Data
- Minimal anonymized analytics (e.g., site visits, template popularity) may be retained for service improvement.
- These records contain no personal or identifiable information.
Security and Protection
- We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect user data, including secure storage, controlled access, and monitoring to prevent unauthorized access or misuse.
User Rights
You can contact support@copilotresume.com at any time to:
- Request manual deletion of your data
- Ask for confirmation that your data has been fully erased
All verified deletion requests are processed within 5 business days.
