AI Knowledge Strategist Resume Example

The role that decides what an AI assistant is allowed to say — and a resume that proves you can run both the content and the guardrails.

What is a AI Knowledge Strategist?

An AI Knowledge Strategist decides what an organisation’s AI systems know and how they answer. That means owning the content behind the model — what exists, what is authoritative, how it is structured — and then shaping model behaviour on top of it through prompt design, grounding and monitoring. The output is not a document library. It is an assistant that answers correctly and can be trusted in front of customers.

The role exists because generative AI made content quality a production risk. Point an assistant at a help centre full of contradictory or outdated articles and it will answer confidently and wrongly, at scale, to everyone. So companies now need someone who can map what users are actually asking to the content that should answer it, and who understands hallucination and grounding well enough to stop the bad answers before they ship.

Google advertised an AI and Knowledge Strategist role in its gTech Ads organisation in June 2026, and the specification is a good map of the job: eight years across technical project management, content strategy or customer-facing work; experience using AI tools to create content; mapping user intent to content solutions through prompt engineering and model behaviour monitoring; and an understanding of generative AI guardrails. Titles vary — AI Knowledge Strategist, Knowledge Engineer, AI Content Strategist — but that combination is consistent.

Valentina Rossi

AI Knowledge Strategist

Buenos Aires, Argentina

Summary

Content strategist and technical programme manager with 9 years in customer-facing product support, now specialising in generative AI. Owns the help-content ecosystem behind an assistant handling 40k questions a month, and built the grounding and review process that cut wrong answers by 71%. Comfortable writing the content, designing the prompts, and reading the evaluation results.

Experience

AI Knowledge Strategist · Latamly Ads Platform

Feb 2024 – Present

  • Own the content strategy for the advertiser help ecosystem, aligned to quarterly product roadmaps across four surfaces — help centre, in-product guidance, chat assistant and video.
  • Mapped the top 300 advertiser intents to specific content solutions, then rewrote or retired 1,900 articles so each intent had exactly one authoritative answer.
  • Designed and iterated the prompts behind the support assistant, introducing mandatory source grounding and citation; measured wrong-answer rate fell from 12% to 3.5% across 40k monthly queries.
  • Built the weekly model-behaviour review with engineering and support leads — sampled transcripts, logged hallucinations and grounding failures, and fed fixes back into content and prompts.
  • Defined the escalation boundary: billing disputes, policy enforcement and account suspension were deliberately excluded from automated answers and routed to humans.
  • Led content localisation into Spanish and Portuguese for six markets, working with three agencies against a fixed product-launch schedule.

Technical Programme Manager, Customer Content · Corriente Digital

Jun 2020 – Jan 2024

  • Ran the support content programme for a 1.2M-user advertising product, coordinating product, engineering and support across three release trains.
  • Introduced content analytics — search-exit rate, article deflection, time-to-resolution — and used them to cut ticket volume 24% in a year.
  • Rebuilt onboarding documentation around the top ten new-advertiser tasks, reducing time-to-first-campaign from 11 days to 6.
  • Wrote lightweight Python and SQL to pull search and support data directly, rather than waiting on analyst cycles.

Customer Solutions Specialist · Corriente Digital

Sep 2017 – May 2020

  • Supported mid-market advertisers on campaign setup, tracking and troubleshooting, handling escalations across LATAM.
  • Authored the internal troubleshooting playbook adopted by a 40-person support team.

How to write a AI Knowledge Strategist resume that stands out

  • Lead with an assistant or a corpus you actually shipped. “Rebuilt the help centre behind an assistant answering 40k questions a month” beats any statement about the importance of knowledge.
  • Say whether it shipped or was a pilot, plainly. Both are respectable; only one survives the interview if you blur it. “Ran a six-week pilot with two teams” is a strong line when true.
  • Show the guardrails. Grounding, source citation, what you refused to automate, how you measured wrong answers. Everyone hiring here has met someone who could build a demo and not a control — this is the paragraph that separates you.
  • Quantify the content, not just the strategy. Articles retired, deflection rate, time-to-answer before and after, percentage of the organisation using it. Content work is measurable and most candidates never measure it.
  • Name the stack literally — the model, the search tool, the CMS, the analytics. These are screened as exact strings, so paraphrasing costs you the match.
  • If you are a product or programme manager moving across, put the target title under your name. A reviewer sorting into piles reads the top third, and “Product Manager” alone lands you in the wrong one.

AI Knowledge Strategist resume — FAQ

Is AI Knowledge Strategist a new job title?

The discipline is old and the title is new. Knowledge and content strategy have existed for decades, but demand changed sharply once generative assistants made content quality a live production risk. Google posted an AI and Knowledge Strategist role in June 2026; similar work appears as Knowledge Engineer or AI Content Strategist elsewhere.

Do I need to be technical?

You need literacy rather than engineering. Google’s own specification asks for prompt engineering and an understanding of generative AI guardrails, plus experience with analytics, coding or web technologies — not model training. You should be able to explain grounding, read an evaluation result, and hold a credible conversation with the engineers building the pipeline.

Can a product manager move into this role?

Yes, and it is one of the more natural moves — the Google spec explicitly accepts technical project management as the qualifying background. If you have run a help centre, a knowledge base migration or an internal assistant, you already have the experience. What usually fails is presentation: the resume reads as generic product work rather than content and AI work.

Which industries hire for it?

Large technology companies with substantial support organisations, professional services and law firms whose product is knowledge, and any enterprise rolling out customer- or employee-facing assistants. Healthcare and financial services hire too, where a wrong answer carries regulatory consequences.
